I have an 05 Rainier, it failed inspection today because they could not read the emissions from the computer. It is not showing anything, i took it home plugged my scanner in and its completely blank, scanner will not even light up. I checked all the fuses and everything is fine. Any other ideas?

Is it safe to assume you were both using the cigarette lighter socket to power the scan tool?
