1950 Buick Front bumper needed
I have a 1950 Buick that was customized in 1951 by Bob Metz from Shelbyville, Indiana. I have owned the car for nearly 30 years and have only just recently received information and photos of it when initially shown. I need to get a front bumper and signal units to restore it back to the way it was originally done. I do not need the center grille section. I have tried Wheatbelt, but they don't have anything. Can anyone help?
The car was originally a 1950 Super convertible. It has a chopped removable steel hardtop and is channeled. It has functional scoops in the rear quarters and on the hood. Mechanicals are all stock with straight 8 and Dynaflow -- no power anything. Below is a link to photos of it in 1951, 1983 and how it looks now. I really like it better how it is now, but feel a sense of history to take it back to 1951. The only thing i really need is the bumper -- the 1952 one on it now and Chevy grille arrangement would be available if anyone would want to trade. http://public.fotki.com/Rikster/11_c...tz-50-buick-h/ |
