Towing with Park A or Lasabre + Power Train swap.

Dont ask me if I am Crazy: I am looking at using a donor standard PA or Lasabre for a unique powertrain swap. Swap it into a RV. Wondering about pulling the load. Total weight of RV Will be about 6,000 lbs. The net sites say the PA and Lasabre weigh about 4800 and can pull a 1,000 lb trailer. Anyone had experience towing boats or trailers with them. I live near Interstate 75 in Ky. I remember seeing them pulling campers for Florida Snowbirds heading back to Mich and Canada. 2 questions 1. Wondering about the reliability of the Trans pulling the load. 2. These 3800s had a kinda cult following for a while as drag cars and hotrods for young guys with little $ Is there any ways to make the Trans into a HD Tranny. Maybe tougher clutches, improved selinoids. heavier torque converter. To date this 3800 seems to be the most reliable FWD powertrain. I drove these Buicks probably 500,000 miles.
