2009 Lacrosse Bluetooth Onstar Module?
My dad has a 2009 Lacrosse and the manual shows that the car can come with a bluetooth version of the VCIM, but ours doesn't have it. We aren't ever gonna use OnStar, we just want the Hands Free Calling bluetooth functions of the module. I found the part number from another thread (25779180) and searched for it on ebay and found nothing. GM Parts Giant say it was succeeded by 20864302, so I searched for that and again nothing. I did however find two parts numbers with listings for 09-10 Chevy Malibu that has bluetooth and all of the same connections and mounting points as the picture of the 09 Lacrosse bluetooth VCIM. The Malibu manual even has the same instructions printed for pairing a phone to the bluetooth. How interchangeable are these modules and would one of these work in our 09 Lacrosse for just bluetooth? I saw multiple threads of people putting random onstar modules in their cars from different cars and part numbers and having it work fine for them to add bluetooth, but found nothing so far for our car.
