Hi,
I am doing an engine swap on my '95 Riviera and going with a newer motor and putting a supercharger.

Would anyone recommend me doing this and if so would it be ok to use Castrol GTX 20W-50 Motor oil ?

My friend tells me to since the motor has over 100K miles but I dont know if that would be good idea.

Please let me know,

Harlem

i would continue using the 10-30, for the engine. and the dealer sc oil.

Is your new motor supercharged originally, or are you adding the supercharger?

do you have a new e-prom for the pcm, or will you have the old one re-flashed? and is the new engine series1 L67, or s2 L67?

Supercharging is an interesting idea, no lag.
