Under hood light not working!!!
 

Hi to All,
I'm new to this forum so please bare with me. I just acquired a 1999 Buick LeSabre Presidential edition. I have a problem that I can't seem to solve and need help with. My under hood light does not work! I have checked fuses, bulb, etc. and all are good. Even that little pellet seems to work OK. Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone know what I have missed??? Is there another fuse some place that I could of missed? I've been stymied by this one!!! PLEASE HELP. i am not to familiar with the wiring, but i had an intrepid that had the same problem, ended up being 2 things, the switch that activates when the hood is opened to activate the bulb on, and i also had a chaffed wire inside the plastic wire protective case which the wires where in, maybe try taking a look there. otherwise thats about all i have.
