smelling gas fumes from my 97 lesabre

hi guys ! i am kinda new to this forum and i was wondering if you might be able to help me ! i have a 1997 buick lesabre 3800 v6 and when i shut it off i smell gas fumes ! someone said to check the charcoal canister, where is it located ? also some says it could be a line leaking but no signs of any leaks and i also checked the fuel regulator but nothing there ! it runs like a champ on the road ! the only thing is when i shut the engine off i smell gas fumes towards the back ! there is a pressure sensor on the tank, could it might be leaking fumes ? thanks guys, i appreciate it !

Hey there!
I know you posted this a while ago but I just saw it.
Have you gotten it figured out yet?
Was/Is it getting bad gas mileage and were you having to fill up more frequently? The first thing I thought of was like a cracked or loose gasket or something. That's what was wrong with my mom's Crown Vic. It didn't smell of gas til after it was parked.
