Need some help with VIN Number
 

I am in the process of titling my 1946 Super. My dad bought it in 1960 for $25 and it has been in the family all these years. Minnesota was a non-title state in 1960 so no title ever issued. The car is now in Florida so I need to verify the vin. I found a cowl tag on the right side Buick 14406332. There is a rectangular space directly below that is approximately 2 inches by 3.5 inches where something appears to have been removed. Anyone have an idea. Your help appreciated!:)

Body trim parts for 46 Super
 

Does anyone have a good source for stainless body trim parts. I need the fender and door trim for a 46 Super Sedannet. I have some of it although bent, some is missing.
