Newbie checking in and looking forward to new learning new things.

Didn't read any of the posting dates did ya?

So many post go unanswered and no one replys with a whole lot one can learn here.
Or there is one fellow who will come along every so often and let you know if your car/truck is over 5 years old you should just scrap it and buy a new one.

There is not a lot of activity on this forum, but it could be , Buicks don';t give that much trouble, or most folks that own Buicks have someone else repair them.
Anytime you have questions , never hurts to ask ! I have been working on them for many years and the newer ones can get quite complicated. So ,,, I'm still learning too .
There is not too much you can do with late models without a good scan tool. Just like a doctor can look at your blood work and see something wrong a knowledgeable tech can look at scan data stream and tell quite a bit also I should be able to offer some assistance if codes are displayed.

Scan tool Multia meter and a shop manual can solve most problems before you throw parts at it.
shop manuals can be bought for most Buicks back to 2000.

Trouble trees can be found for some problems by searching on google or other search engine.
