2008 Buick Lucerne Key Stuck in Ignition

I have a 2008 Buick Lucerne and for the past 2 days my key has been struck in the ignition.
The key can start the car but it won't turn all the way back after I turn it off and the steering wheel won't lock.
I've searched online and tried turning the wheel hard all the way left with the emergency brake on, tried shifting down and up to park hard but still the key is stuck.

Please help

I'd try spraying a generous amount of WD-40 or equal into lock set, jiggle key and rotate as far as possible many times...... Maybe?

Also as you sort of mentioned turn wheels so centered not extreme to the left or right.
