1983 Buick riviera suspension

Hello everyone. I have a 1983 seventh generation Buick riviera. I would like to lower the car. This model doesn’t have front coil springs. It has shocks and torsion bars. I removed the adjustment bolt for the torsion bar to lower the car but didn’t do much. Are there any better options other than air ride or lowering key ways like they use on trucks.?? Thank you

Aren’t those all FWD to begin with? Was an engineering phenomenon back in the ‘60’s with no driveshaft tunnel. Cars too low will wipe out underneath components quite easily if driven as a normal car. Things like mufflers, air damns and suspension components. Other car has minimum ground clearance and need to really slow it over rail tracks, start of inclines and other. Now I’m interested- be back in a bit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Riviera

I can’t believe those aren’t equipped with struts (shocks with coil springs over outside). Maybe somebody put shocks on and forgot the springs? Car must bottom out continuously as is?
