Door Handle came loose
 

I have a 2008 Lucerne and today when I went to open the drivers side door the door handle came loose in my hand. It did not come off the door but now I cannot open the door from the outside. It works fine from the inside. Any suggestions or should I let the dealer do his job?? I aint afraid of tinkering, as I have a machinist/mechanic background but don't want to screw things up more.
