2008 Lucerne 3.8L Hesitation

I have a 125k mile Lucerne I bought 8 months ago. It seems to hesitate while acceoerating at low speeds. Nothing really past 10mph. Happened about 4 months back and I removed the throttle body to clean it. Seemed to help until now.

I don't think a tune up has ever been done, but I'm thinking the TPS is going. This common in these cars or should I be looking into a trans problem?

Thanks!
Doug

What about plugs, some are good for 100K miles but mileage that high if never changed?

I changed the plugs, wires, ignition coils and throttle body (with TPS) about 3k miles ago. Seemed to help quite a bit but still has slight hesitation from time to time. I'm thinking the MAP sensor and Seafoam are next. I also seafoamed the gas tank to clean the injectors. We'll see.

Roger that on the PM's. Understand some of the Buicks have fuel pumps with only strainer and no filter. Maybe you have both on your car? Know air filter was changed, intake connections (leaks)? Just learned this past decade cars have cabin (fresh air intake) filters, never heard of this before but true.
