2007 Lucerne trunk release button not working

My trunk release button located in the glove box stopped working. The trunk still opens with the key fob but not the button.
Any ideas? I checked the fuse and relay under the rear seat and they are both good. ( I thought they would be good since the trunk release works with the remote key fob)

From what you describe, I would check if power is available at the glove box switch and see if it goes through the switch when depressed. If all that checks out, then all that is left is the wiring from the switch to the trunk..
