< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> I have a '97 LeSabre with 35,500 miles on it. It runs and drives like new, and with the exception of leaky transmission seals at 31,000 miles I've never had a mechanical problem. But now I think the electrical system is acting up: the Security light on my dashboard cluster stays on constantly. According to other forums and the owner's manual, if the light comes on, it means the anti-theft system doesn't recognize the resistor in the PASSKEY-II and shuts the ignition system down, leaving the car unable to start. However, I can start the car and drive it continuously, no alarm goes off or anything. But the light just stays on. Has anyone had a problem like this before? Is there anything I can do about this light? I appreciate any suggestions. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-42"; urchinTracker(); </> |
