i recently experianced a problem with the car [ 97 3800 lesabre] stalling as iwas cruising, when i hit the switches [window or seat]on the driver door, it took me a while and a few walks home, but i figured out the problem was a short in the negative junction under the sill plate under the driver side carpet . no problems since!

no it happened a few times. aleast 6 i can remember, till i found the problem!

it may do it [done it] 2 xs in a row and then it wouldn,t happen for a month.

those neg ground blocks\junctions are not very good design.

dampness or water from leaving the window open also contributes, these cars are not designed very well around the door glass to keep water out at speed, even if the window is just cracked open a little, as im sure you know, let alone leaving the window open in a quick shower. thanks
