Hud
 

I just inherited a 2004 Lesabre Limited. It has the Heads Up Display option which does not seem to work properly. I can see a small green speedometer number in the windshield along with the turn signal display. Very small and very faint, especially in the sunlight.

I remember looking at a HUD in a friends 2004 Park Avenue and the image on the windshield was precise, clear, large and very readable.

So, obviously there is something wrong with the HUD in my inherited Buick. I am a good do-it-yourselfer and would appreciate any and all suggestions as to where I start to troubleshoot.

Car has a little over 18K miles on it and everything else works like new.

Any HUD experts out there?
