donut tire blew up after topping to 60 lbs.
 

After a few months I was just checking the donut air pressure ( it's in the truck I never used it) and it had a 5" blow out. anyone know why this happened? Will and tire store be able to sell me one? I'm guessing a salvage yard tire/rim will be old since it's a 2001 to 2005.

Spare tires can "age out" just like tires on the ground do. Discount Tire can get replacement spare tires. Just match the size.
