I have a 92 Buick Lesabre, I am having trouble with the brake on this car. I only have brakes on the front drivers side and the rear passangers side. My pedal goes to the floor (very little stopping power). Rear brakes are ALL new I replced every pcs. I tried the master cylinder but fluid comes out both sides (front and back holes).

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I have bled the brakes multiple times (wasted1 gallon brake fluid).

Thank You.

Might still be the master cylinder. Sounds like one side is bad or at least leaking under pressure. Also, a master usually has to be bench bled if air has entered. Another possibility is in the ABS system.

Possibly air got in the Master cylinder. </font>

Can you ever pump up your brakes at all?

Are you leaking any fluid?<br style="font-style: italic;">
</span>If you can, does the pedal continue to fade down after it becomes hard?</span>

Proper bleeding can be a nuisance, Here are my notes.

Try my checklist.

</span>

</span>Pumping pedal is slowly but firmly.

DOT 3 brake fluid.

<ul>[*]If there is suspect air in the master cylinder.
Bleed Master Cylinder.

To bleed Master Cylinder
<ul>[*]Never allow the reservoir to empty below half.[*]
Open the front line and fill till fluid drains without air.[*]Reconnect line and close and tighten the line to 24 ft lbs.[*]
Get an assistant to slowly press the pedal while cracking the connection and checking for air.[*]Wait 15 seconds and repeat.
Apply this process for the rear master fitting.

</span>Bleed the wheels in proper sequence.

</span>

Follow the sequence for the wheels according to body type.

DOT 3 brake fluid.

Never reuse brake fluid.

Never allow the reservoir to empty below half.

Bleed sequence depends on BODY Type VIN#
Yours is LeSabre.. Checking it shows sequence.
 1. RRrear
 2. LRear
 3. RFront
 4. LFront
Checking manual.. nothing mentioning ABS in this area.
