When I turn on my car it makes skretching noises

but stops after a couple seconds.

also when I stop @ a stop light it constantly makes the skreetching noises

but after I pass 30 mph it stops



Some people say its the fan belt, or the engine belt?

then others say things I never heard of...

I need help

noise problems really annoy me. i have one trouble once and the reason
for that skreachy noise are the CV joints wearing off. another problem
were with my wheels haveing a terrible tear on the passenger side.

Check your serpentine belt or is bender. At low RPM it may slip and generate your noise

Idler pulley bearings frequently run dry and also screech.


remove the belt and spin the pulley to check for noise.
