3800 v6 info needed
I have a 92 Buick lesaber that has the 3800 v6 I'm currently doing work to improve the looks of the car well today I thought about it and decided it can't be all show and little go .
What I'm needing to know is what factory supercharger will bolt up to a series II v6 now I know my engine was not built for boost and I run the risk of blowing it up . Planning on running 10lbs of boost or less just want a little more go so can any one tell me what will fit ? And what computer I will need along with the correct harness ? Also I know the 3800 is a stout engine and can be built to eat a lot of stuff on the road I know it has a strong aftermarket backing so I'm also looking for headers any ideas ? |
Any one ? I'm sure some one on here has done this or thought about it

The stock supercharger on the Series II is the Gen 3 Eaton M90. You might be able to get one and the computer out of a Park Avenue Ultra. I'm not sure what cars of that gen had the supercharger.. I think your biggest problem might be finding a computer out of an OBD1 car that has a s/c.

Never thought about the obd 1 now I need to research about what cars had a sc with obd 1 computer system I'm sure I could find one on evil bay but if I found one at a local jy it would be a lot cheaper

I just took a quick look on wiki, and no GM cars with the 3800 Series II were supercharged before 1996..so they're all OBD2
The Park Avenue Ultra had the Series I Supercharged from 1992-1995. It had the Eaton M62. I'm not sure if there's any differences between the Series I and II |
