< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </>I am dealing with the exact same symptoms on my 2000 LeSabre. My machanic has so far changed the transmission fluid and filter, done a tune up including spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter, and he has replaced a coil on cylinder #1. The tech scan showed a code for misfire on cylinder #1. I still have the same problem, so when my "service engine soon" light came on again, and it threw a code for misfire on Cylinder #1, he said it has to be the fuel injector for that cylinder. He will replace that this weekend. From what I have studied online, it sounds like this may be the fix. We got the car computer to throw that code by pushing it hard up a hill and it went up to 4rmps, stayed there and then the "service engine" light came on and it came up with that code. Hope this helps. Edited by: samueljackson |

Nope, the new fuel injector didn't work. It is still messed up. My mechanic actually drove it himself this morning and he pushed it hard and it backfired. I can't remember if I got the fuel pump recall work done on it or not but I am going to check on that tomorrow. He is talking harmonic balancer now...jeesh. Never heard of that!! Didn't know my car could play musical instruments. We'll see what the local Buick dealership says. |
kad, i moved your problem to its own topic to keep it better organized. 2 problems in one topic get very confusing.
