1994 Lesabre base climate module
 

Hi, I have a 94 Lesabre, I just bought a couple weeks ago. I don't know anything about Buicks. I've had a 94 Cadillac Fleetwood. I'm reading that apparently these have issues with the climate modules. When I press the buttons, they don't light up. I don't know if they are supposed to make a beep noise when you press? When I hit the off button, the blower stays on. This is the manual slider switch for the blower and temperature. I've looked on eBay for repair services, but I'm unable to find any. Seems 95 and up people do them, but not the 94. Please help, if anyone has encountered this. I have googled, I have searched eBay for repair services. I had to manually open the glove box to get the air to come out of the vents. It would only do defrost and floor. The compressor does not engage, I was told the compressor was bad when I bought it. I have a whole A/C kit coming in. But now I'm questioning myself if I take it in, have them replace the parts and it doesn't work if the climate module is bad. Thanks!
