The antenna doesn't go down when I turn off the car. Also the antenna motor is continuously running. Any quick easy solutions. Also where is the second fuse box located. I know the one under the steering column, is there one under the hood somewhere? Thanks for your replies in advance.

I just checked all fuses under steering column and glove box. No blown fuses. So does it seem I have to replace the whole antenna assembly?

Are the relays the black blocks above the fuses in the second fuse box under the glove compartment? I'm not sure if the antenna is malfuntioning because of the relays or because the antenna itself is off the trac. Because if I guide the antenna with my hand it will eventually go up/down on its own. But the antenna motor still runs when the car is off. Will this drain my battery over night? Edited by: KillaCam |
just unplug the wires going into the bottom of the antenna. You have an internal break in the Antenna rod. The dealer sels replacement, extreamly difficult to change. It is easer to replace the entire Antenna.

Junk yard antennas are quite swappable.. even if they dont Identically match the original closely.. |
