Troubleshoot my 2011 LaCrosse CXL 2.4
 

Dash warning says AC is off due to hot engine. The car is not over heating. Top radiator hose is warm and flexible. Bottom condenser hose is not as warm as the top. Engine temp is not showing a reading with the needle resting below the C. It doesn’t move. Heat works great, but the cooling fans are running constantly even with the engine off unless I pull the fuse. Thermostat seems to be working. I replaced the ect sensor & reset the ecm. But fans are still running. I recently replaced fan, radiator & ac condenser along with the lower radiator sensor. It ran great for about a month, but now same warning keeps popping up … AC off engine hot. I did not recharge the AC after the condenser was installed. The fan is rattling & unusually noisy. Could a dysfunctional fan be throwing off the cooling system? I can’t figure this out.

My wire’s car did similar. AC compressor did NOT start. Had to turn AC on/Off”. The stealer replaced water pump… problem still there, but unrepeatable when being observed.
