Front Driver wheel squeals

Hello,

I have a 2012 Buick LaCrosse Premium 2 AWD sedan. The driver front wheel squeals loudly. Similar to the sound of the brake tabs to remind you to change your brakes. The brakes are new. They were changed because I thought that was the reason. However, it wasn't. It squeals after it warms up about 3 minutes of driving. The squeal is heard loudly between 5 and 30 mph and does not change when brakes are applied. The squeal seems to go away (At least to my ear) at about 40 mph or faster. Any ideas on here? I'm dumbfounded by this.

Other than wheel bearing or maybe universal? Brake pads may squeal or chatter if not sealed to caliper back plate. Can't say with current, but factory pads would come with retainer clips that would usually break with removal of old pads. New pads would come with this compound you would apply to back of new pads before install to combat any lateral movement. Who can say:)

Also the phenomon of getting a small stone lodged between pad and rotor can occur. You wouldn't believe what that sounds like......

I agree with Rich B.'s explanation regarding retainers. I have found that OEM parts are usually more complete and do provide longer service.
Mileage was not disclosed, but it is very important to have rotors trued in spite of how good they might "look"
.
