Brake Piston compressing

Hi All, New to this forum as I recently became the proud owner of a Buick LaCrosse.
As mentioned above, I have a 2005 LaCrosse. I need to replace the rear brakes on it. I've done several brake jobs so I'm familiar with the process. I've never had a problem until today. I'm trying to compress the piston back into the caliper, but it won't budge. Has anyone run into this? Is there a different method than the old C-clamp method?

Well, I learned something. It seems rear brake calipers need to be turned in using a caliper compression tool. I got one from AutoZone on their loan a tool program. Live and learn, I guess. At least I found a new forum I can turn to.

Screwed in ? Seem to remember this from a 1990's Chevy Lumina .

We recently bought a 2006 Lacrosse . I bought a Chiltons or hayens manual . If you are still having problems , holler & I will try to look this up .

Also , search for a youtube video .

God bless
Wyr
