2011 Buick Lacrosse CXS
 

I have been reading about the complaints about the 3.6 engine in the 2011 Buick Lacrosse. I too have the clanging sound from under the hood, the slight whining likw a belt is going but has anybody noiticed a low pitch whistling sound only from the interior especially slightly above idle and 10 minute run time from a cold engine? This whistling does not go away. I have 480 miles on the car.

Yes, I have the same low pitched whistle in a 2007 Buick LaCrosse CXS that doesn’t go away. I think that mine has something to do with the radio.
