2007 Buick LaCrosse CXS 3.6VVT
 

Hello, I’m fairly new to owning a Buick and I have a 2007 Buick LaCrosse CXS 3.6 VVT. Does anyone know how to engine swap with the 3.8 in the CX or CXL LaCrosse? Some local mechanics told me that I cannot perform this because it’s likely that the electrical aspect will be different due to most modern cars are ran by computers not able to integrate even though they are the same year and same brand. I understand some things might not work as expected, but I feel like that’s the trade off of performance. All constructive criticism is acceptable.
