i have a 97 ultra 3.8 supercharged when i go to start it the first time it just turns over and over. as soon as i turn the key back and the try to restart the car it starts right up every time. does any one have any ideas it would be appreciated

 

I would start with the fuel system. I've had the sameproblem before and in general, a complete fuel system job will do the trick. Change the fuel filter (should be located driver side rear and is farly easy to replace), add some fuel system cleaning solution (slick 50 gas treatment is the best I found for 3.8L), and it might not hurt to swap out those plugs (and wires depending of the mileage). I recommend the quatro Bosch ones. They're pretty easy to replace, just remember the rear 3 you might have to climb under the vehicle to reach
