Paint finish ?

I have a 2012 Lacrosse and noticed all these little bumps all over the hood is this normal? And if not how long does GM warranty paint issues? I bought the car used and didn’t notice these bumps. They are all about an 1\8 inch or less and only on the hood

Are you sure that isn't an acid rain problem? Also if hood is aluminum and rest of car steel, could be a corrosive electrolysis issue with two dissimiliar metals. Doubt warranty would apply after 6 years.

Can't vouch for Buick but my '13 Boss 302 has an aluminum hood and corrosive issues occur and no warranty for that at this point. Mine has been fine.
