Help 1961 Buick Waterpump leaking
 

Hi, I have a 1961 Buick special v8 and I have been having troubles forever. My water pump keeps on leaking even when I got one from the junkyard. It’s leaking from the gasket but I’ve used new ones and gasket sealant. What could cause my water pump to leak and it’s only leaking from one place.

Are you sure it is not leaking from the water pump shaft seal and running down to appear coming from the gasket?

When you mean shaft seal you mean the bearings, I don't think it's coming from there as its dripping from the left side. Do you know how to check if its the shaft seal thank you so much for replying?.
I can add a video of it leaking if that would help.
