A discontinued GM part?

I have been running in circles try to find some parts for my new-to-me regal. So far, no one carry this heater (hvac) inlet adaptor

GM part number: 24504523

The part is an elbow with a mounting bracket. The bracket faces the opposite side of the "L" shape. Inside it there is some plastic and a spring. My innards crumbled when removing my tensioner and I need this part.

It appears the part is discontinued. No local dealers or auto part stores have it. I haven't checked eBay yet, but I'd rather not unless I have to.

Any other ideas?
