Hi I'm new to the forums, my name is Zack. I have a 1995 Buick Skylark Custom (3.1L engine) with 100,000 miles on it. I'm having problems with leaking coolant. I got the "low coolant" light coming home the other night, and I've just been able to look into it today. I put coolant in it and I could hear it running out the bottom of the car, so I looked underneath and I seen it running out. The car was not running. I pulled the coolant reservoir out and cleaned it up and seen if it could have possibly been leaking and it was not. I re-installed it and reattached the hoses and added coolant again. It's still running out, so I knew it wasn't the reservoir.

I looked closer into the problem underneath the car, and it seems like it's coming from up above, but it's running down and dripping from in between the oil and transmission pans. Do you think it's the water pump or maybe just a hose? I need this car to be in good running shape so I can't be having coolant leaks. Let me know what you guys think it could be. The coolant dripping is green, so I know it's not mixed with oil or anything. Thanks again.

Hi, I would check the hoses, might be a loose clampon hose on excess water overflow
