I'm trying to solve this one for my parent's 2000 Century. As the car accelerates through thegears, the transmissioin has a harsh bang or grab about a quarter way througheach gear range. The transmission does not slip before or after the bang. It appears after the transmission has warmed up. When it first started a while ago, there was foam in the fluid after running. However, it doesn't foam anymore. Dealer has inspected andchanged the fluid and filter twicebut the problem persists.

Please help.

Thanks, Matt

stop wasteing timewith the dealers , get itto a certified transmission repair shop . if you need tires go to a tire dealer , if you need a transmission go to a transmission shop , trust me , the dealers only as good as the people they have working for them and their knowledge.its probaly a sticking valve in the system , or a wire making contact with metal in the valve body .good luck
