Replacing brake light on 2000 LeSabre
Hi, I'm new to the forum. Anyone have any suggestions on how to replace the brake lights on a 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited? It seems like there's no easy way to replace them other than to loosen up about 7 bolts and slide out the entire light mechanism. Is that true? I also have two lights on the right side (brake lights that blew out at the same time). Does this make sense that they'd both go at the same time or might there by a more serious problem? I'd appreciate any ideas on this.

I'm sorry, I didn't make my last question as clear as I should have. What I meant was does your vehicle have separate lights for the signal lamps in the rear? The reason I asked this is if the rear signal lites and the stop lites share the same bulb and the signal lites work , but the stop lites don't , then you have a different problem. We'll just take one thing at a time and not make a big project out of this. OK?

Oh I see. Actually, they are separate. I was able to replace the brake light yesterday. The other bulb that was out was simply loose and came back on when I tightened it. Pulling the rear light assembly out was not that big of deal as I had originally thought. Thanks so much for the advice. I really appreciate it!
