That keeps the proper pressure at the injectors at all times. If there's gas leaking around it, even a tiny bit, thats your problem. It should not leak at all. Replace that, and your car should be fine again.

wow i may of been right, lolz, im not a mechanic at all, i know very little and my mom's bf said that might of been the return gas that goes back to the tank.
|
lol I'm no mechanic either. Most of what I know I've either learned by watching my dad and neighbor do mechanic work on most of our vehicles, watching shows like horsepower tv, and reading similar problems/solutions on the internet. I started watching and helping when I was about 5, so close to 15 years of learning and doing have taught a lot.
I'm not sure how the fpr functions on that motor, if you want to find out for curiosity's sake, just follow the line that goes from the bottom. You'd be surprised how much you can learn by doing things like that. |
Hey guys, That looks like the FPR.
|
fpr mean Fuel pressure regulator?
I went to autozone to buy 1 for $50 gonna replace it tomorrow to see if it helps. |
