1972 Riviera 455 stalls
 

I doubt it's bad gas, but it's possible. I'm going to double check points gap and timing, but those things aside, what might cause engine stalling? It starts, warms up, drives well for 1 mile but then wants to stall at about 40mph and/or facing an incline. Alternator is performing properly.
