1965 Skylark Front Disc Conversion

I am in the beginning stages of restoring a 65 Skylark. Cosmetically, I want the car to be as original as possible which is what is driving this question.

Last summer I put a front disc brake conversion set I purchased from a reputable distributor on ebay. The inner lip of the original 14" wheels will not fit over the calipers. As a temporary fix I have purchased a basic set of 15" Chevy wheels that will fit. Unfortunately the 15" wheel being used without spring spacers rubs very bad. I have put the spacers in until I get this issue resolved.

My preference would be to use the original wheels and find a smaller caliper (if possible). I have several questions:

1. Is there a caliper that will fit under the original 14" wheel?
2. Is there another 14" Buick wheel that was made for disc brakes that can also use the original hub caps?
3. If I have to move to a 15" Buick wheel, does anyone have tire size recommendations that have worked for them?

Thank you.

Sean
