02 Rendezvous Ignition Switch
 

Hello everybody. I am new here and already asking questions....I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to remove the ignition switch from my 02 Rendezvous. The ignition is stuck with the keys in it, and I can't turn it all the off to remove the keys and it will not turn all the way on to start it either. Any help would be great.................Thanks

This is a common problem and unfortunately it requires the tech to drill a hole in the tumbler section to remove the defective tumbler assy to access the release button and remove the tumbler. It will require a new assy and hopefully the pass-key /pass-lock system won't be affected.
