Ultra options question
 

hey all, new member here. I've owned a few Ultras since 1994. I just picked up a '99 Ultra with just over 50k miles! I was surprised though when I opened the trunk and saw it had the standard closing mechanism rather than the pull-down motor. There are some curious clues that maybe this car had some rear end repairs from a crash. (paint bubbling on trunk lid, junkyard grease pencil on some suspension parts, etc.) So, the question is "did the '99 ultra come without the trunk pull-down?" I'm just trying to assess the car's history. I'm keeping the '94 ultra for now.
