Starting issue
 

Hello all, new to the site, having an issue with a 2000 Park Ave that won't start. At first it would just crank but not catch. Checked compression, found only 5 psi. replaced the fuel filter and fuel lines. Now it won't even crank. The fuel pump comes on, but the dash lights go out and sometimes the gauges go crazy, but nothing happens. The "security" light is in and flashes. Can't find any info anywhere that doesn't mention a resistor in the key, which I don't see on my key. Any suggestions on what may be the issue?
