this is a thread from another forum i frequent, i thought i'd share it here too. this is in my 92 park ave that i swapped a 93 L67 into. well, i went through with my Gen 3 swap on my buick. following wren's recipe, the coating turned out pretty good. Attachment 802 Attachment 803 Attachment 804 my FWI setup Attachment 805 Flow matched injectors. 0% spread, yeah baby! thank you Spud @ FIE, and Jimmy Floyd both. i wouldn't have had 0% spread without JF's injector pool. Attachment 806 i smudged the coating a little before it fully cured :( Attachment 807 Attachment 808 Attachment 809 and i will have to wait for the sun to move to get some better pics, but hey Attachment 810 Attachment 811 this was fairly painless. i had a problem with it running lean bc of the tb having no screen. looking at Bill's chart in his tb thread, i realized that the 94-95 L67 TB ID is very close to a L36 TB. so i tried it, and the screens interchange very well. i was suprised at how much of a difference that screen will make. A piece of advise for most of us here, is to NEVER remove that screen. |
