I'm thinking about pressure washing my engine to get some build up grease that is in the lower part of the engine behind serpentine belt system. Is this a good Idea?? Should i avoid this??? Thanks in advance.

i use my power washer all the time. i just use grocery bags to cover the alternator, and disconnect the neg battery terminal for safe measure.

get some degreaser, a wire brush, and the power washer, and have always had great results.

i did my bonne a couple weeks ago, heres how it turned out

Awesome work man. Do you have any tips for taking the casting off aluminum??

i use with good results, those 3 dollar wire wheels. they have them in all sorts of sizes. i just start with a 3 inch and work my way down to the smaller ones as the space calls for it. if you have a dremel, the mahe them too. those work for those real tight spaces.

Always wash my motor too with the hose and what's left of the wash and wax. But have been backing off as our '16 LaCrosse says embossed on the motor not to wash. How can this be, LMAO?

First time I ever saw that, your bound though to get your motor somewhat wet just driving in a rain storm it seems. So far so good I guess......
