Swaying while driving in the rain

2005 Century ABS light on, Trac off light on
when I drive in the rain it is like I have no control of the car
yesterday while driving the interstate in a light rain I thought I was going to lose control I had to pull off. It seems as if the back end of the car is just sliding from side to side.

any ideas?

All kinds of ideas ! Some not good !
When the car has a mind of it's own , it's time to have someone take a serious look at what may be going on under the rear of the vehicle.

The fact that the ABS lite is calling you, get it checked out , PRONTO !!
Among the possibles,
loose wheel(s)
worn bearings
brake problem

One of the wheels may be locking up and all you feel is it wants to go where it wants.
Please don't wait, there is a serious problem and it could affect not only you, but the people next to you.
Has any work recently been done to your vehicle that could possibly contribute to the problem?

I agree with Hanky, this is a serious problem and you are never going to know for sure and accurately diagnose it on your own. Take it to the shop ASAP.
