have a 1989 Century, 3.3l that makes a kind of rubbing or grinding noise when taking corners, my guess is the wheel bearing needs replaced (front right side). Is this a complicated procedure? Can it be done without affecting the brakes? thanks |
Not real familiar with your car, but if it's rear wheel drive, it is an easy procedure, but not one that a novice should try because some steps are critical. If it's front wheel drive, it's probably beyond most non-professionals. Not sure what you mean by "affecting the brakes". You would have to remove the calipers, but probably not get into the hydraulics. |
