I'm no mechanic, but have a 1990 Buick Century. The power windows didn't work at first, but I was able to get the drivers to work with some fiddling, and the passenger window kills the car if used from drivers side, but works fine if you use the passenger control. The back windows wouldn't do anything. I read somewhere about the wires in the door rot out where they go from the door to the left front panel. I opened the door and as they said, put my foot on the big wire harbess and pushed heard, Viola! everything works as long as I push on the harness. So hope it helps someone, as I wasn't going to go buy a bunch of switches and parts I probably don't need. Later on, I cut the harness open and about 3 of the wires were rotted and touching each other, I just cut, spliced and retaped and everything works good as new. Apprently this IS a common problem, and easy solution, thanks for listening!
