Hello, This is in response to the "Hesitation" issues on my '92 3.3 century with sluggish power/hesitation that started at just highway speeds..and now has progressively got worse with no codes and barely drivable @125,000 miles. I changed ICM no help, and the fuel pump as well, with no results, fuel pressure reading @39lbs. book says 25~44. Has anyone changed the cat converter to relieve this problem? If so did this work. Thanks, Mike < => <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> </> |
Try cleaning the MAF sensor.
I have the same year, but haven't had it long(~2 months). SO I'm not sure if this car has one though, but on my '92 Q45 that was the cause of the problem you described. |
yep. try cleaning the Mass air flow sensor.

Unless this has been done recently, I would replace the spark plug wires. |
