Does any know the procedure to change license plate light bulb on a 97 PA, It looks as though the cover flips down however mine does not. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Haven't had to do that yet, but you may have to pull the taillamp assembly from the trunk lid. I do have to replace a stop light there, and I know that's what I have to do.

There are seven 10mm nuts which must be removed, three of which are under the inside trunk lid trim.Edited by: MrBSS

I may have to do that and see if I can access it. I was hoping to avoid that. Thanks for the reply

I did my taillights last night, and it does look like pulling the assembly is the easiest (maybe the only) way to change the plate bulbs. It's not really very difficult. I would recommend changing all the bulbs while you're at it, though.

Use a 10mm nut driver, or socket. There are 7 nuts that hold it on (at least that's how mine is). Two each are on the edges of the lid, and three are across the lid under the trim. It'll be easier if you have the tool to pop those (6) panel fasteners that hold the trunk trim, but you can also get them with a flat blade screwdriver.

Good luck,

Brian
