Default 1973 Buick 455

I have just purchased a 1973 Buick 455 basket case it's all there but its rough.
Heads removed I can see slight crosshatching in the cylinders and have found no signs of a rebuild. Valves are stamped GM and no rtv any where. I have not removed the pan and checked the rods yet so far so good.
My goal is an honest 400 HP 500 tq. Now the big question what is the most economical way to reach my goal?
Flat top pistons? Or stock pistons or deck the block? Mill the heads?what size carb? does anyone have a good blue print for this engine with proven numbers?

This engine is going into my 53 Chevy 210 hot rod. Currently it has 3.73 gears and a 25 inch tall tire and a turbo 400 trans. The rear will most likely have to be changed do to it being a weak 10 bolt. I have read the carcraft build up but did not see dyno results just that they freshened it up.

Any advise would be appreciated this is my first Buick build and also my first complete engine rebuild.
I know I need a pair of valve covers, oil pan and timing chain cover. If you have any of this to sell please pm me.

Thanks
Godspeed
MrC.
